Born in the San Francisco Bay Area to parents from Cuba and Puerto Rico, Gabriela is a seasoned bilingual communications professional with over 12-years’ experience in print and public radio newsrooms, on film-production sets, studios, non-profits, festivals, events and corporate entities.
Starting her career operating as the Editor-In-Chief of San Francisco’s longest running bilingual newspaper, El Tecolote, her heart lies in building bridges cross-culturally, impacting policy, inspiring change, advancing social/environmental justice, and Supporting innovative art/culture projects globally.
